The study programme is in the field of Educational Sciences. The duration of the studies is 3 years (180 ECTS credits). Through the diversity of the disciplines available to the student, the programme aims at forming and developing the specialist’s basic competences in Special Psychopedagogy in compliance with contemporary society’s expectances. More specific, the graduate will have the competence of psycho-pedagogical evaluation of children, young people and adults with special needs, to achieve specific psycho-pedagogical intervention (compensation – recovery – therapy) for people with special needs, to design tailored educational programmes for different levels and target groups, to advise, guide and assist psychopedagogically various categories of persons/educational groups (children/students, families, teachers, employees, etc.), the competence for self-assessment and continuous improvement of professional practices and career progression, and to facilitate the school, professional and social inclusion of people with special needs. The last institutional evaluation of the programme was in november of 2022.

The undergraduate field of which this study programme belongs to is Educational Sciences. The duration of studies, as full-time studies and distance (ID) education, is 3 years (180 ECTS credits). The subjects in the curriculum ensure the training and development of specific professional skills for the field of education, at the level of primary school and preschool. The curriculum prepares teachers for preschool and primary education and specialists / experts in the education of preschoolers and young schoolchildren. The last institutional evaluation of the program was in 2023.

The undergraduate field in which the study programme integrates is Psychology. The program works in two forms, full-time studies and distance learning. The duration of studies is 3 years (180 ECTS credits). Students acquire operating skills with fundamental concepts in the field of psychology, design and implementation of research in the field, assessment of critical and problematic situations, psychological assessment of individuals and groups, design and implementation of psychological interventions. The study programme aims to cover all areas of applied psychology as recognized by the Romanian College of Psychologists: clinical psychology, organizational and work psychology, educational psychology and vocational counselling, and applied psychology in national security. The last institutional evaluation of the program was in May 2021 for distance learning and in July 2022 for full time programme.
Perspectives after graduation: Completion of the Psychology study programme enables graduates to occupy a position in the field of psychology or connected fields: psychologist specialized in clinical psychology, psychologist specialized in counselling psychology, psychologist specialized in work psychology, transport psychology or service-applied psychology, psychologist specialized in educational psychology, school and vocational counselling, school psychologist, psychologist specialized in national security.
